Green and Leopard

When I’m designing a space I’m drawn to a neutral palette with pops of color. Typically when I’m layering in color my choices do not fall in shades of green. Ever since Pantone’s 2013 Color of the year, Emerald Green was announced I’ve been trying to use green a little more. We all know that was a while ago but when I saw this photo of one of Tory Burch‘s sofas, the combination of the green velvet couch with the leopard had me sold.

More green velvet, in a slightly more casual sofa but with just a splash of feminine with the leopard pillow.

Amazing with the leopard wallpaper, reverse design combination here as the green is the little pop instead of the leopard.save

This room feels masculine to me with the tall green bookshelves but a little piece of feminine with the leopard stools.
