I recently discovered the photography of Lupen Grainne and instantly fell in love. A self taught photographer and resident of Sonoma County, one of my favorite places in the world and where I got married, Lupen captures images during her travels and right at home near the beautiful place she lives in Northern California.
Her photos have been featured in Apartment Therapy, The Sun Magazine and are currently featured at Pottery Barn. Lupen’s photos instantly give you that warm feeling. They are beautiful pieces of work that can be incorporated into many different spaces.
Because it holds a special place in my heart, some of her photos of Northern California. All of which can be purchased though her Etsy site here.
I’m considering this set for a client’s living room.
The amazing city of San Francisco, captured in all its glory.
Lovely images of flowers, this one would be beautiful in a little girl’s nursery.
I love this photo of a peacock for a den or library.
Currently Pottery Barn is featuring 16 photographs by Lupen which come framed and matted.
When I incorporate art into a space it’s important to me that there is a personal or emotional connection to the piece. To me that means when anyone walks into the room they instantly have that comfortable feeling. Lupen’s photographs do just that and more.
